With Bru-Stop™ technology, once fully pressed down, the
Bru-Stop™ plate creates a physical barrier between the
grounds and brewed coffee or tea. Using tempered
stainless steel, the plate flexes up while pressing and then
springs back to a flat position – halting the brew process.

These are very well built presses. Sturdy and keep the coffee hot and it really does keep the coffee from getting bitter. The grab bag deal is fabulous ordered 2 and extremely happy with both. One had a little dent and the other I don’t know what was wrong with it. Order was shipped quickly. Awesome.

I like a morning jolt from my cup of coffee and paper filters were not doing it for me. I doubled my bean count, I dripped through twice, I would have bought burnt bean if it was stronger than Italian roast.
