Staff Pick: Rwanda Kivu Lake Bourbon

Drum Coffee opened its doors to Missoula in 2016 and has been curating popular coffee blends ever since.  Rwanda Kivu Lake Bourbon is an absolute masterpiece that gained its fame with Drum early on. With a delicate bourbon aroma, slight notes of lemon and honey first greet your palate and fade away into a soft finish of plum and cocoa. Take this medium roast wherever you go, and you are sure to start your day with a slow smile.

With a bright, clean body, a savory aroma of roasted almonds and subtle undertones of vanilla and berries, this medium roast blend is sure to help you live hygge.

Hunter Bay Coffee – 101 East Front Street, Missoula, MT 59802

Staff Pick: Organic Ethiopian Sidamo  (SOLO Series)

Hunter Bay’s Single Origin Limited Offering (SOLO) series of roasts proudly touts beans from one specific coffee-growing region of the world.  Sourced from indigenous coffee cultivars native to the Gedeo Zone in southern Ethiopia, the beans are roasted for Ethiopian Sidamo with regional nuance in mind, naturally highlighting a taste of berries and apricots paired with pleasantly underwhelming cacao undertones.  All of Hunter Bay’s roasts are 100% USDA organic and Direct Trade certified.
