Planetary Design, purveyors of quality coffee storage containers, French Presses and drinkware, relocates to old Stimson Mill site in Bonner, MT.
It’s been a busy last week of April for all of us at the PD headquarters. We spent the last week packing up and moving our entire warehouse and offices to a new location. We’re stoked to be settled (well, almost) in a sleepy little town called Bonner, just outside of Missoula on the banks of the Blackfoot River, at an old timber mill that is now being re-purposed into a mini commerce hub. Some of our neighbors include the infamous Kettle House Brewery (and soon to be Amphitheater!), Coaster Pedicab, Montainer shipping container homes, ALCOM LLC, aluminum trailer manufacturers, and Montana Grow, among others.
We have lots planned for our new space, including regular open-door warehouse sales, coffee cupping events, adding screen-printing to our repertoire, and of course maintaining our lunch-time basketball playing tradition. That was, of course, a requirement for the new space – that they ensure a space to set-up our basketball hoop.
We’re so excited to be here! Here’s some before and after images of the new space.
Interior Office Space – home of our dedicated accounting, operations and customer service staff.
On to the warehouse! This is where all of the magic happens, always under the watchful eye of our incredible warehouse and shipping manager, who also happens to be from the Netherlands! That’s a story for another day….
There’s still a few finishing touches required, such as our coffee bar complete with grinder, espresso press, and of course plenty of Airscapes to hold our fresh coffee beans, and French Presses for our daily brew.
Here’s the before of the outside of our new place (still under construction):
