"I bought my first double shot 10 years ago and used it until it fell apart, which took years of daily use. I carried it to work every day, rattling around a bike bag or clipped to a backpack. I traveled with it on roadtrips and through airports and sailboats. A few months ago I bought its replacement, and I remembered why I liked it so much. "My husband gave me a Double-Shot for my birthday years ago. The handle was made of a flimsy metal and rubber, both of which deteriorated over time. And the screen had little slats that got hung up and bent out of shape. I decided to get another one despite the defects, and the same defects happened. So I began a lengthy search for a similar stainless steel french press travel mug of similar size. They all had something that didn't stand up to the Double Shot. So here I am, looking at this mug and see that the filter defect has been fixed. I see the handle is different and hopefully better. So guess what? I'm going to stay with Double Shot!"
