"Have the ability to store my beans during various stages post-home roasting. If I have a full city roast, I can plunge half way down with vent open, no top lid to degas aggressively. Or if I have a City+ I can open the vent with full press down, due to a slower de-gassing process. And when done, I just lock it all down and the beans hold really well for weeks. I only decrease my grind size once after a good couple of weeks."
"I like these canisters. I have had the 2 lb canisters for a while, and thought I would try the 1 lb ones. I can use them for smaller quantities of coffee beans. They are nicely smaller, and seem to work as well as the larger ones. They are easier to find space for. And I like the variety of colors."
"We purchased two canisters a year and half ago. Just two months ago, one of them started having issues with the lid. The lid constantly pops up on one side and it takes multiple attempts to push it down for the seal. Since it’s under warranty, we reached out for a fix, the warranty claim email on the website was no use. Waited a week and I reached out again to the CFO, whose email was included in the original order email when we first purchased. I was told a new lid would be sent out. I never got that; instead I got a replacement rubber ring, which is totally fine, except it doesn’t fix the issue. I emailed again to let the company know and no response at all. We now have one canister works just fine while the other takes 5 tries to properly shut."
