Fifth purcase
"My fifth BaseCamp press in 10 years including two for me (48 and 32 oz versions) and now 3 of my 6 kids. I still use my original 48 oz press daily except when it's just my wife and I drinking coffee that day although I've had to replace the lid/press assembly twice due to failure of the small cap the flips to pour. I really like the new design of the spout as it almost never drips (the older spout design on my original (and bothe replacement lids) drips enough that I always keep a dish rag handy. I've never used a better French press than the basecamp. I don't go a day without one at home or away unless I'm backpacking more than 3 nights."
