Nick Thiemann –
I purchased an OVRLNDR Press last August and have used it almost every day for the last 9 months. It’s very well built, super easy to clean, and adventures very well. I’ve loved it so much I bought a couple for my brother and his wife as christmas gifts last year. The quality is top notch, although it sadly did not stand up to the wrath of my Great Dane when he got ahold of the cylinder. Ordering my replacement, the company has been great to work with.

I bought it at the 2021 BMW Rally in Great Falls. Very personable sales lady. Works as advertised. I highly recommend it. A little pricey but worth it. It’ll likely last forever.

Perfect size for traveling, keeps our coffee hot and is easy to clean. One issue worth noting. When depressed all the way, the plunger forms a seal with the bottom that slows the pouring to a very small trickle. We have to move ours back up a little to increase the flow but that’s a minor adjustment for us. Still rate it 5 stars for the quality of the materials, construction and function.

While this one doesn’t leak (yet) as I’ve read on Amazon reviews and seems to keep it hot, the press only goes down to where the bottom unscrews and leaves about a cup of liquid at the bottom with the grounds. Very wasteful when you’re only making a cup since you would have to make 1 cup plus what you want to drink. Or you would have to run it through a coffee filter which kinda is even more wasteful.

Hi James, thanks for your comment. The Amazon reviews were from products that unfortunately were missing their gaskets, which caused leaking. We got that fixed right away, and as long as yours has the gasket sealed properly it won’t leak.
The leftover liquid was an intentional design of the OVRLNDR in order to make cleaning easy. There is supposed to be a couple ounces in the removable base of the press, so you don’t need extra water to clean the press. Simply swirl the slurry and quickly dump it and then cleaning will be finished.

Really well built press. Been wanting a French press for a while but was looking for one that could be used for travel. This checked all the boxes and so far, extremely satisfied with my purchase!!

I bought one of these so I could make good coffee while backcountry camping. I made coffee with it in my kitchen as a test. I confirmed what everyone else said that it is easy to clean and rugged enough for backcountry. Exactly what I wanted!

Works exactly as expected. Easy to use and clean in the van, plus it’s rugged, so I don’t have to worry about it breaking when I’m driving. Keeps my coffee hot longer than it would ever take me to drink it. I can pour from it, into mugs to share, or drink right from the press. Perfect design! Order yours today. Don’t wait!

Great travel press. Used it on a camping trip and had no problems with it leaking. Keeps coffee hot for hours and you can leave the coffee in the press with out it brewing and getting stronger or bitter unlike the traditional French press. Would definitely purchase this again and would give as gifts for Christmas.

I bought this to replace my standard French press, because the carafe recently broke. I really like this press, I especially like the clean from the bottom ease. The insulated part keeps the coffee nice and hot for about 30+ minutes. The only downside is the base is too big to fit in my Tundra’s cup holder…

Got one for my girl after seeing it on Dome Life. Used it already and super impressed! Can’t wait to take it hiking/camping with us.

Really like the removable bottom, makes cleanup a breeze.
I make 24oz at a time, so I haven’t been able to evaluate the Bru Stop feature.
Took me a couple times to understand how to compensate for the unused liquid retained in the bottom below the press. I was just over-thinking it.
I like 42g of coarse ground coffee with 24oz of water around 195 to 200 degrees F. Brew for 4 minutes. I start the 4-minute timer once the 24oz of hot water has been poured on top of the grounds. After I start the timer, I gently stir then cover.

I won this French press at a Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation banquet in Montana. Can’t wait to take it hunting!

Has been used almost daily for months and is just as good as it was on day one. Build quality is excellent, cleans easily, and brews great coffee. Has handled a couple falls off a moving bike with a couple scratches.
