Most food storage canisters are “Airtight”, which means they lock air in with the contents.  The Airscape® forces the freshness-destroying air out of the canister, extending the life of your coffee, tea, flour, sugar, cereal, seeds, herbs, nuts, pet food or any perishable goods, to keep what’s good today, good tomorrow too!

Reduce packaging waste and refill your Airscape®. It’s the perfect companion to reuse and refill with your favorite local roaster’s coffee beans, or from bulk food bins.

Designed of durable, restaurant-grade stainless steel, the Airscape® canister body resists staining and odor retention.  The BPA-free clear, top lid allows you to see how much is left in the container, and the inner Airscape® lid  (also BPA-free) makes a fun “swooshing” noise as its pushed down, so you can actually hear it working.

• The patented valve forces air out, then locks the lid in place

• While the top lid is clear, to easily see your content amount, the Airscape lid will not allow harmful ultra-violet light to reach the contents

• Made from restaurant-grade, 18/8 stainless steel with an enamel paint finish

• Durable construction resists staining as well as odor and taste transfer – perfect for food storage

• Hand-wash recommended

This product is awesome… I love the simple clean lines but most importantly it just works. I always purchase whole bean coffee and this product keeps it fresh more importantly I purchase Kona coffee each year just after Thanksgiving as a present to myself, and it is still fresh at Christmas. I have a smaller one for the small amount that I grind up and the larger one for storing the whole beans. Excellent product. Light, air and heat are the killers of coffee beans, this product protects it from all.

While I purchased the product on Amazon, I thought I’d write my review here because one review isn’t enough. Put simply, the product is simple and effective. While I usually begin to notice a decline in coffee taste 2-3 weeks after the roast date, I am going on three weeks with the container and so far notice no difference in freshness. The inner lid slides up and down with ease and stays put, pushing out the air in its path. I imagine the canister will see all sorts of coffee in its lifetime, and now I won’t have to worry about taking extra measures to avoid bean degradation. I wasn’t sold on all the gimmicky canister clones advertising a CO2 valve yet no compression and am glad I went with the airscape.

Nice quality, but why isn’t this available in 16 ounces, and perhaps even 12 ounces? 1/3 of American households are people who live alone, and so many products are too large for us. Also there is a trend towards smaller dwellings. Finally, I like my coffee freshly roasted. I don’t mind walking to my coffee roaster (urban dweller) pretty often for a refill. I would also use these for more than coffee (nuts would be good) if there were smaller sizes.

Hi Deb! Thank you for your feedback. Our 32 fl. oz. Airscape is actually pretty small. 32 fl. oz. is a volume measurement (not weight), so it is only 4″ tall and 5″ in diameter. It holds approximately 1/2 lb. of whole bean coffee. So this should be an ideal size for you to refill with fresh coffee often.

I’m very interested in the 32 oz version, but I would be sure that this is able to contain 500 g of ground coffee.
Maybe is better the 64 oz item?

    Can someone please confirm?

The 32 fl oz Airscape would not hold 500 grams of ground coffee. However, the 64 fl oz size should hold it just fine. Thanks for asking!

I’ve been using the stainless steel version for years and have had zero issues. I’m the only coffee drinker in my house, so keeping beans fresh for as long as possible is a must. I purchased mine via a local coffee shop and have not regretted it. Highly Reccomemded.

We put our lid in upside down and got it out by putting the container in cold water so that it expanded, then pushed hard on one side of the lid. Then we sang songs of joy (this part is optional). Just in case anyone else gets themselves in this predicament.

I bought several of these, some that i picked the color and some as a grab bag. I have now make two purchases and they will be the “go to” gift for my friends. I have both the round and square canisters. I think the round seal better although the square pack better in a cabinet. I highly recommend them! They are my new best gift for friends and family (everyone has coffee and/or tea in their cabinets!)

My newest best gift. My sister turned me on to them. They live in Florida and need to protect their coffee from humidity. I have bought so many of the Airscape canister for my tea drinking and coffee drinking friends. They keep my brown sugar (which lasts me forEVER) from turning into cement. I buy macadamia nuts in bulk from Hawaii and these canisters keep them from going stale. I’m even thinking of replacing my ancient Tupperware with airscape. And, everyone I’ve gifted them to, loves them too. Love the company and the employees.

No one seems to use this the way I do. I use it to keep my brown sugar from hardening. I have been storing my brown sugar in this canister for MONTHS with no problem. I have tried them all, and believe me, nothing compares to this product.

Love the product but I received what I believe to be the old lid with my product. Is the one with one hole in the inner lid the newer of them or the one with two holes?

  13. Erin Lannon (verified owner)

We make inner Airscape lids with both one, and two vent holes. They both will function in the same way to remove the air from the canister.

Tl;dr: The product is great and the customer service is even better.

Purchased on Amazon. Product was shipped without the clear lid. Contacted customer service through this site and received a quick response and the missing lid was shipped promptly. *****Interaction with customer service was outstanding.***** I am pleased with the product and have used it daily for ~1 month.

i purchased my Airscape from Butter Coffee here in Western Australia and am thrilled with it! I am going to give large size one to my son and purchase a small one for myself.I have a source of great beans close by so purchase smaller quantities for myself. So happy to have you d this great product.

i purchased my airscape specifically to store coffee beans, and it never even crossed my mind til now that i could use it to store so many other things. putting them on my gift list to get and to give. 🙂

I use this container for brown sugar. I haven’t found anything that works to prevent it from turning into a brick. This container does that. It’s been months since I put brown sugar in it and it is still fresh and soft. It is the best.

I love these. Have too many to count. Store coffee, nuts, granola, dried fruits, BROWN SUGAR (doesn’t get rock hard), bread crumbs (doesn’t get those flies), etc, etc, etc. Love the colors, love how well it seals, love the clear tops (put the labels from the bags in the top so I know what’s in the canister without actually opening it). The small ones stack nicely in my cabinet. I have given them as gifts and they are always a hit. No downside here and I’ve been using them for many years.
